Itinarary
Day 1: Arrival and Acclimatization day: Welcome at Leh airport. Leh is at 3,500 meters. Take it easy, acclimate to the altitude. Evening explore Leh Palace,Shanti Stupa, Jama Masjid, and Gompa Soma. Stroll around Leh market. Night in Leh.
Day 2: Leh - Magnetic Hill - confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers - Alchi - Likir - Gurdwara Pathar Sahib - Leh: Explore the Sham region in Ladakh. Witness the confluence at Sangam, Magnetic Hill, visit Basgo Gompa and Alchi Monastery with its exquisite art. Lunch in Alchi, then explore Likir, Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, and Spituk monastery before returning to Leh. Night in Leh.
Day 3: Leh - Khardung La - Diskit - Hunder (Nubra Valley): Early departure from Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, one of the world's highest drivable passes. Enjoy the breathtaking views, descend to Diskit village, visit Diskit Monastery, and witness the impressive 32-meter Maitreya Buddha statue. Enjoy the double hump camel ride at the sand dunes of Hunder. Overnight stay in peaceful Hunder village.
Day 4: Hunder - Turtuk - Thang - Hunder: Explore Ladakh's northern gems with a journey from Hunder to the culturally rich Turtuk, picturesque Thang, and back to Hunder. Discover diverse landscapes, cultures, and experiences. Night in Hunder.
