Winters in Ladakh are beautiful with the cold snow-covered white landscape and it offers a chance of hibernation or a long winter nap for the nature. Therefore with the ending of the harsh winter in Ladakh the life and the landscape of nature slowly come back to life in the spring. Every year around this time the snow and ice start melting, Rivers and stream starts flowing, trees begin to bear leaves and the different valleys of Ladakh starts blooming.. Ladakh is part of Trans-Himalaya and it is known for the interesting yet fascinating landscape and structure of mountains and peaks. Despite of short farming season in Ladakh farmers can get crops like wheat, Barley, mustard, and a variety of vegetables and fruits like walnuts, Apples, grapes, and specially known for the variety of Himalayan Apricots.

Apricot blossom season is one of the most beautiful time to visit Ladakh. There are many valleys which are quite famous in whole Ladakh for the variety of apricots like Aryan valley Dha, Beema Darchik, and Turtuk valley in Nubra.

Every season has their own beauty with the starting of spring this time we tried to cover the most of the places and to provide the experience of beautiful Apricot blossom in Ladakh.

Itinarary

DAY 1: Arrival: Arrival Leh Kushok Bakula Airport. You will met by our representative and transfer to hotel for check in. Today is almost full day rest as the altitude of Leh is 3,500 meters. In the evening you will visit Leh Palace and Shanti stupa of leh town.

Overnight stay: Leh

DAY 2: Sightseeing around Leh town: Today we will visit some monasteries to know about the Tibetan Buddhism and history of Ladakh in general. Sightseeing around Leh city and will be visiting Thiksey and Hemis monastery and Leh market in the evening.

DAY 3: Towards Sham valley DHA-BEEMA (2,700 mtrs) : While going towards sham valley we will be visiting Hall of fame, Magnetic hill and Sangam confluence (meeting of zanskar and Indus valley river) . We will continue our journey towards west visit Alchi village and the monastery. Thereafter we will continue our travel to BROKPA valleys also known as Aryan valley.

Overnight stay: Guest house/ Homestay in Beema or Dha.

Duration: 4 hrs drive

DAY 4: Beema to Leh via Lamayuru monastery: After early breakfast we will visit Garkon, Dha and Beema villages popularly known as Land of Aryan. These villages are the home to Brokpa or Drokpa tribes or community of ladakh and a must visit tourist destination in lower Leh.

Apart from that we will be passing via Lamayuru village popularly known as moonland for the lunarscape of the mountain.

Duration: 4-5 hrs drive.

DAY 5: Nubra ,Turtuk valley (3,000 mtrs): Today will leave early morning to Nubra valley via khardong la (17,982 ft/5,359m) Nubra valley Visit Disket monastery on top of hill and the 32mtr giant Maitraya Buddha statue nearby the monastery.

After a halt for the lunch at Disket market we will continue travel towards the Turtuk valley a

Duration: 4-5 hrs drive.

Overnight: Turtuk.

DAY 6: Explore Turtuk and back to Hunder : Turtuk is a small village located on the banks of Shayok river. It is one of the few places in India where one can witness Balti culture. Turtuk is one of the northernmost villages of India and it was open to tourists in 2009 only.

Duration: 2hrs drive to Hunder

Overnight: Hunder Nubra

DAY 7: Pangong lake (4,225m) via Shayok valley: Early morning we will move towards Pangong lake via shayok valley. One of the best places to enjoy stars gazing at night and of course the beautiful saline and clean water lake. Today we will be passing few villages along the Shayok valley like Agyam, Shayok, Durbuk and Tangtse.

Overnight stay: At Pangong

DAY 8: Back to leh via changla pass Spent good time at Pangong lake and drive back to Leh via Changla pass 17,500 ft. You will get a good amount of time to stroll Leh market for Souvenirs back to home.
