Birding Tour to Hanle and Tsokar

Led by an experienced guide and ground handler, you'll encounter endangered and endemic species like the Black-necked Crane, Tibetan Snowcock, Ibisbill, Eurasian Eagle Owl, and Chukar, ensuring unforgettable experiences and a remarkable photo album.

Itinarary

Day 1: Arrival in Leh

Take some time to acclimatize to the high altitude.
Evening Birding at Gyamtsa Valley and Sindhu Ghat.

Day 2: Leh

Before Lunch Birding at Shey marshes and around the Indus.
Evening Birding at Spituk Marshes.

Day 3: Hanle

After breakfast, start your journey towards Hanle.
En route, visit Chumathang hot springs known for their medicinal properties.
Continue the drive to Hanle, known for its stunning landscapes and wildlife.
Overnight stay in Hanle.

Day 4: Hanle

Exploration of Hanle's birdlife and landscapes.

Day 5: Hanle

Further exploration of Hanle's birdlife and landscapes.

Day 6: Hanle to Tsokar

Depart from Hanle and proceed towards Tsokar.
Continue the journey to Tsokar, also known as the "White Lake", which is famous for its wetland ecosystem and wildlife.
Overnight stay in Tsokar.

Day 7: Tsokar

Spend the day exploring the wildlife and natural beauty of Tsokar.
Visit the Tsokar Wetland Reserve, an important habitat for migratory birds.
Overnight stay in Tsokar.

Day 8: Tsokar to Leh Via Taklangla

After breakfast, start your journey back to Leh.
Overnight stay in Leh.
